In Summary
The story opens with our heroine on her first ever New York City date, which also happens to be her first ever internet date. As she sits down with not-so-handsome bachelor number one, she is shocked to discover that he has a foot fetish, would like to marry her and loves watching her chew. Check, please.
So begins a ridiculous string of dates that all go terribly wrong. There’s the swing dancer who tells her that her body is “like a speedboat;” the kilt-wearing Subway Pirate; the naked man who calls her Paris Hilton; and the old friend who dances around madly on a French beach proclaiming, “I’m a flamer! I’m a flamer!” before confessing his unending love and vomiting on her carry-on.

Where We Are Today
After completing draft one in 2009, I’m in the process of the first major re-write. After this, the manuscript goes off to some of my favorite agents in the hopes that snark and truth are still good selling points.
